1. Acceptance and minimum age
By creating an account or using Reals you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. You must be at least 16. Reals asks users to declare that they meet the minimum age, but does not currently perform automatic documentary age verification.
2. The service
Reals lets you create goals and experiences, track habits, use reminders, complete Reals, join groups and competitions, chat and publish content to the Social Feed. Features may change or be withdrawn for technical, legal, safety or product reasons.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity from your account unless you report unauthorised use.
- Do not impersonate others or evade blocks, suspensions or safety measures.
4. Your content
You keep the rights you hold in your text, photos and other content. By publishing it, you grant Reals a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to hosting, storing, technically adapting, displaying and distributing it within the service as needed to operate Reals and respect the audience you selected.
Only share content you have the right to use and do not infringe copyright, privacy, image or other third-party rights.
5. Social Feed and recommendations
“For you” ranks public posts you can access using signals such as language, recency, categories related to your Reals, inspiration popularity, previous impressions and variation. “Following” prioritises your own content and content from people you follow or are friends with.
Recommendations aim at relevance and variety and do not make decisions with legal effects. You can use “Following” for an experience less based on third-party recommendations.
6. Conduct and moderation
You must follow the Community Guidelines. Reals provides reporting and blocking. Reports may be reviewed manually and we may restrict visibility, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts where appropriate. We do not promise automated or instant moderation.
We may retain information strictly necessary to investigate abuse, comply with law or handle an appeal, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Chats and notifications
Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. If notifications are enabled, message previews or alerts may pass through Expo Push Service and Firebase Cloud Messaging and may appear on your lock screen depending on device settings.
Reminders, habits, deadlines and nudges are organisational aids; delivery at an exact time is not guaranteed.
8. Suspension and deletion
You may stop using Reals or delete your account. We may restrict or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary for violations, safety, fraud, abuse or legal requirements. Where appropriate, support provides a review channel.
9. Availability and responsibility
Reals is provided as available. We work to keep it safe and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that user-created activities are suitable for everyone. Users must assess the risks of activities they choose to undertake.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service, law or risks change. Material changes will be communicated appropriately and renewed acceptance requested where required. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
