1. Who we are and acceptance
Reals is a service provided by Aleix García, a developer operating from Spain. Contact: reals.contacto@gmail.com.
By creating an account or using Reals you accept these Terms, the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Minimum age
You must be at least 16 years old to use Reals. Reals asks you to declare that you meet the minimum age but does not perform automatic document-based verification. Accounts of people under 16 will be deleted.
3. The service
Reals lets you create and complete Reals, save memories, track habits and reminders, join groups and competitions, chat, post to the social feed, use Reals AI, earn coins and cosmetic items and subscribe to Reals+. Features may evolve, change or be withdrawn for technical, legal, safety or product reasons; if a change significantly affects something you paid for, we will let you know.
4. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- Each account is personal: you may not sell, transfer or share it.
- You are responsible for activity on your account unless you report unauthorised use.
- Do not impersonate others or use Reals to evade blocks, suspensions or security measures.
5. Your content
You keep whatever rights you hold in your text, photos, videos and other content. By publishing it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence limited to hosting, storing, reproducing, technically adapting, translating, displaying and distributing that content within Reals as needed to provide the service and respect the audience you chose. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared by other users within the service’s features or kept because the law requires it.
Only publish content you have the right to share and do not infringe copyright, privacy, image or other third-party rights. Before adding a location or showing other people, make sure you are happy for it to be seen.
6. Social feed and recommendations
The “For you” section ranks public posts using signals such as language, recency, categories related to your Reals, inspirations, posts you have already seen and an element of variety. “Following” shows your own content and content from people you follow or are friends with. These recommendations do not produce decisions with legal effects.
7. Reals AI
Reals AI automatically generates Reals suggestions using artificial intelligence. Suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for you and are not professional advice. Always consider your abilities, safety, health and applicable rules before doing an activity.
Reals AI has a daily usage limit (currently 5 requests on the free plan and 25 with Reals+), which may change. Do not use it to generate illegal or dangerous content or content that breaches the Community Guidelines.
8. Coins and virtual items
Reals coins are a virtual currency you can get by buying packs, watching rewarded ads or through in-app activities. They can only be used within Reals to obtain virtual items such as frames, titles or other cosmetic elements.
Coins and virtual items are a limited, personal and non-transferable licence. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money, sold, transferred to another account or refunded, except where the law requires. They are lost if you delete your account. We may correct balances or items granted by mistake or through fraud.
9. In-app purchases
Purchases are made through Google Play and are also governed by Google Play’s terms. The final price, in your currency and including applicable taxes, is shown on the Google Play payment screen before you confirm.
What you buy is delivered to your account as soon as Google confirms the payment and our server verifies it. If you do not receive it, use “Restore purchases” in the app or email reals.contacto@gmail.com with your Google Play order ID (GPA.…).
10. Reals+ subscription
Reals+ is an optional monthly or annual subscription offering benefits such as more storage (150 MB instead of 50 MB), up to 3 memories per Real, exclusive name colours, the Elegant theme, a permanent Reals+ badge and a higher Reals AI limit. The exact benefits are shown in the app before purchase.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the current price unless you cancel it before the renewal date in Google Play (Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period already paid. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.
If the price changes, Google Play will notify you in advance and you can cancel before it applies. We do not currently offer free trials.
The Reals+ badge stays on your account even after the subscription ends. If Reals+ ends and your storage exceeds the free limit, nothing is deleted automatically, but you will not be able to upload new content until you free up space. We will give you at least 90 days’ notice before deleting any content that exceeds the limit.
11. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, as provided by law.
For digital content delivered immediately, such as coins, the right of withdrawal is lost once the content has been delivered where you expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged that loss. For Reals+, if you withdraw within 14 days after asking for the service to start immediately, an amount proportionate to the period already used may be deducted.
You can request a refund through Google Play (play.google.com, “Orders”) under its refund policy, or by emailing reals.contacto@gmail.com. Nothing above limits the rights granted to you by applicable consumer law.
12. Rewarded ads
Watching ads is always optional. A reward is only granted once Google confirms you watched the full ad, and rewards are subject to limits (for example, a daily maximum of coin ads). If no ads are available or you block them, no reward is generated.
Manipulating the reward system (bots, emulators, automation or any kind of fraud) is prohibited. We may cancel fraudulently obtained rewards and restrict the account.
13. Conduct, moderation and complaints
You must follow the Community Guidelines. You can report content or users and block accounts in the app. Reports are reviewed manually and, where appropriate, we may remove or limit content, restrict features, or suspend or delete accounts.
When we take a moderation action that affects you, we will explain the reason where possible. You can ask for it to be reviewed by emailing reals.contacto@gmail.com within 6 months. This email address is also our point of contact for users and authorities.
14. Chats, notifications and reminders
Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Reminders, habits, deadlines and alerts are organisational aids: we do not guarantee that a notification will arrive at an exact time.
15. Reals intellectual property
The app, the Reals brand, the design, the software and the service’s own content belong to us or are used under licence. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Reals for non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, decompile, scrape or exploit the service without authorisation, except to the extent permitted by law.
16. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Reals or delete your account at any time. We may restrict, suspend or close accounts when reasonably necessary due to serious or repeated breaches, security, fraud, abuse or legal requirements. If we close an account for a serious breach, coins and virtual items may be lost to the extent permitted by law.
If we decide to stop offering Reals, we will announce it with reasonable notice and handle proportional refunds of active subscriptions where applicable.
17. Availability and liability
We work to keep Reals safe and stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that it will be completely error-free. Reals created by users or suggested by Reals AI are ideas, not safety guarantees: everyone must assess the risks of the activities they decide to do.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, for example in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or harm to life or health, or the rights you have under consumer law.
18. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection granted by the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims before the courts of your place of residence. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue amicably.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, the law or the risks change. If a change is significant, we will let you know with reasonable notice through the app or the website. If you do not agree, you can stop using Reals and cancel your subscription.
20. Languages
These Terms are available in several languages. In case of discrepancy the Spanish version prevails, without prejudice to the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
