1. Minimum age
Reals is intended exclusively for people aged 16 or over. Sign-up requires declaring that you meet this minimum age. The app does not perform automatic document-based age verification. Accounts of people under 16 are deleted as soon as we become aware of them.
2. Zero tolerance
Reals prohibits any content or conduct that exploits, sexualises, abuses or endangers minors, in particular:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any format.
- Grooming or recruitment for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, threats or sexual coercion.
- Requests for sexual images, videos or content from minors.
- Sexualisation of minors or conversations intended to facilitate their exploitation.
- Trafficking, recruitment or facilitation of child sexual exploitation.
3. How to report
Reals offers reporting and blocking tools on posts, comments, profiles and chats. For child safety matters you can also email reals.contacto@gmail.com with only the information needed to locate the issue (username, group, post, date).
Do not send, attach or redistribute illegal material by email. If there is immediate danger, contact the authorities in your country.
4. Review and action
Reports are logged and reviewed manually, with priority when minors are involved. Reals does not currently use automated CSAM detection.
When we become aware of a possible violation, we remove the content, restrict or delete the accounts involved and keep only the information strictly necessary for an investigation or legal obligation.
5. Cooperation with authorities
Where the law requires, we will report confirmed material and cooperate with the competent authorities and organisations. Our priority is to protect the people affected and prevent further spread of the material.
6. Social features and protection of 16- and 17-year-olds
Users aged 16 and 17 can use the feed, comments, followers, chats and optional location on posts. We recommend posting with the “Friends” audience, not adding the location of your home or school, not sharing intimate images and blocking or reporting any contact that makes you uncomfortable.
